Our Learning
Philosophy
At Sprogs, we take a comprehensive and research-driven approach to early childhood education. Our play-based curriculum is informed by respected global theories, including Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and the Science of Early Child Development.
At Our Garden Playschools, We nurture the whole child—emotionally, socially, and intellectually—encouraging independence, empathy, curiosity, and resilience.
By creating a warm, supportive environment, we help children explore, connect and thrive. Our playschool is a haven for exploration. Children are seen as curious, competent learners. We support their individual journeys and overall wellbeing with responsive educators, rich play environments, and learning grounded in the latest child development research.
-
We believe play is essential for deep learning. Our environments are rich with opportunities for hands-on discovery, imaginative play, and joyful learning experiences.
-
From growing vegetables to caring for animals and conserving water, we model mindful environmental practices that inspire lifelong stewardship of the Earth.
-
We celebrate diversity and nurture belonging. Through shared experiences, cultural events, and daily collaboration, our community feels like family.
-
Every child is unique. Our educators tailor learning experiences to honour children’s voices, interests, and abilities—ensuring each child is seen, supported, and empowered.
Parents as Partners
At Sprogs, we value strong, collaborative relationships with families. By building trust and open communication, we ensure you’re included in every step of your child’s learning journey. From face-to-face conversations to digital updates and shared experiences, we’re committed to working together to support your child’s growth and happiness.
CONnection to Nature
Nature is at the core of our Garden Playschool philosophy. Our programme allows children to freely explore nature and to engage in child-initiated and teacher-supported inquiry about the natural world. All Garden Playschools incorporate green spaces to connect your child with nature, encourage physical activity and support positive mental health and wellbeing.
Environmental
Practices
Sustainability is embedded in all we do. Children help create nature reserves, conserve water, understand energy, and practice responsible waste management. From growing their own veggies to caring for animals, we model and teach eco-conscious living.
Early education
carefully designed
At Sprogs, we know a thoughtfully curated environment—inside and out—is the foundation of every child’s learning journey.
